Ology.com recently sat down with Britt to talk about everything from high school and sex scenes to filming memories and working with Dylan. Check out the interview below!
What made you want to get involved with the film?
My agent sent me the script and I read it, and I thought it was really sweet. It was unlike a lot of the things that I was reading at the time and I just got off a television show so I was really interested in doing a film. I was really interested in the role of Aubrey and I thought she was really well-written. The fact that (the writer/director) Jon [Kasdan] can put his voice in both characters and have them be complete opposites, but not really because they share a lot of the same qualities. He was able to fine-tune both of them so well and I was captured by that. And obviously, the first scene of the film is 30 pages, so immediately I was like, “Are you kidding me? When does this scene end? What’s happening with this scene?” So I just think that was really fun and unlike anything I’ve read before. And then I auditioned, met with Jon and eventually had a chemistry read with Dylan and that’s kind of how the whole thing evolved.
